چکیده

In this paper a result on attitude tracking control of a micro satellite by integrator backstepping based on quaternion feedback is presented, and the controller is shown to render the system equilibrium point UGAS by application of the LaSalle-Yoshizawa theorem. This is a part of a study of possible control methods for the spacecraft ESEO, a spacecraft included in the SSETI project initiated by ESA. ESEO is actuated by four reaction control thrusters and one reaction wheel, and simulation results based on data from the satellite are presented. Copyright c © 2005 IFAC

Attitude-Tracking Control with Path Planning for Agile Satellite Using Double-Gimbal Control Moment Gyros

In view of the issue of rapid attitude maneuver control of agile satellite, this paper presents an attitude-tracking control algorithm with path planning based on the improved genetic algorithm, adaptive backstepping control as well as sliding mode control. The satellite applies double gimbal control moment gyro as actuator and is subjected to the external disturbance and uncertain inertia prop...

Finite-time stabilization of satellite quaternion attitude

In this paper, a finite-time control scheme is presented for stabilization of the satellite chaotic attitude around its equilibrium point when its attitude is confused by a disturbed torque. Controllers and settling time of stabilizaton are obtained, based on the Lyapunov stability theorem and finite-time control scheme. This method is satisfied for any initial condition. Numerical simulations ...

Quaternion-based Finite-time Sliding Mode Controller Design for Attitude Tracking of a Rigid Spacecraft during High-thrust Orbital Maneuver in the Presence of Disturbance Torques

In this paper, a quaternion-based finite-time sliding mode attitude controller is designed for a spacecraft performing high-thrust orbital maneuvers, with cold gas thrusters as its actuators. The proposed controller results are compared with those of a quaternion feedback controller developed for the linearized spacecraft dynamics, in terms of settling time, steady-state error, number of thrust...

Spacecraft Coordination Control Using Pid+ Backstepping

In this paper we present a PID+ solution to the problem of relative translational and rotational tracking, using the concept of integrator backstepping. By using an integrator augmentation technique, we include integral effect in the controller to account for the unknown orbital perturbations. The controller solution utilizes the quaternion representation to achieve a shorter rotation path on c...

Decentralized Adaptive Output Feedback Attitude Synchronization Tracking Control of Satellite Formation Flying

A quaternion-based attitude synchronization tracking problem is treated for satellite formation flying without using absolute and relative angular velocity measurements. More specifically, an adaptive control based output feedback attitude synchronization tracking control law is first developed under the requirement of communication links between each satellite in formation and the desired traj...
